LET THE MISSION BEGIN

We’re on a mission just like you: you want to build a successful business and change the world in a meaningful way, and our mission is to help you.

About Us

OVERVIEW
WHY
OVERVIEW

Entrepreneurial Giving is a movement to nurture a new generation of purpose-led businesses. What starts with a simple pledge to donate a percentage of their exit proceeds to charity, becomes a powerful network.

By creating an international community of like-minded entrepreneurs, it encourages positive behaviour and gives them the tools they need to create positive change.

We get entrepreneurs: you’re busy, have bills to pay and you just want to focus on making your business a success. That’s why this isn’t just about ‘giving’. Purpose links to profit. We believe (and we’ve got research to prove it) that entrepreneurial giving and entrepreneurial success go hand in hand.

From the talented employees who want to join your journey, or the customers who will love your story and stay loyal to your brand, nothing says different like making a difference.

WHY

We’re on a mission just like you: you want to build a successful business and change the world in a meaningful way. Our mission is to help you do it.

By joining EG you’ll be making a statement to show the world you stand for more than just profit. From the bakers in Birmingham to the start-ups in Shoreditch, it’s clear that purpose is good for your business:

  • Stand out amongst your competitors – nothing says different more than making a difference
  • Hire better talent and keep them longer – create a culture that makes your staff love Mondays
  • Attract an army of loyal customers – supporting good causes makes customers buy from, recommend and switch to your brand (it’s proven!) – growing the bottom line
  • Get noticed and read all about it – over 600,000 new businesses start every year in the UK alone. Give your business an angle the media will want to talk about
  • Lastly, be soulful! Some say luck isn’t a coincidence…

MEET A FEW EXAMPLES

Meet some of the fantastic members of the EG network. We call them our Examples for two reasons. First, they run exemplary purpose-driven businesses that are socially, ethically and environmentally responsible. Second, they are examples of our belief that doing good and doing well go hand in hand.

George Hayward

“Twelve Arts manages artists and produces arts projects of scale. We focus on projects that have a positive social and environmental impact on people and places, so EG felt like the perfect fit.”

Beanie Cox

“We make sure everything Twelve Arts does is embedded with purpose and EG was the perfect fit. Being able to pledge a percentage of the sale of our business to charity made complete sense. We are also very excited about the chance to meet other businesses on the EG network and feel there is a real opportunity to share ideas with likeminded organisations to drive positive change across many industries.”
