Hub Culture interview with Maurice Ostro at Davos

February 20, 2018Shaughan DolanCampaign News, Maurice Ostro, Mission In Business, Purpose

The World Economic Forum conference at Davos can be a busy place. But during a hectic schedule, Maurice Ostro caught up with Edie Lush at Hub Culture, who interviewed him about Entrepreneurial Giving.

Philanthropy is often seen as something that you do at the end of your career. In today’s world, that has to shift. It’s got to be a lot more about alignment of values, as opposed to making lots of money, then thinking: “Ok, now how can I give back?” You should be giving back as part of the process. You should be engaging your business in the needs of the world.

Economic and political journalist Edie Lush asked Maurice how EG can help small business, the consequences of embedding purpose and how Maurice’s business experience informed this project.
