EG x LFW

February 27, 2018Shaughan DolanCampaign News, EG Update, Purpose

It’s been an exciting week here at EG!

We started off with a trip to the London Fashion Week to attend the glamorous launch of a MOOC (which means Massive Open Online Course – if you didn’t guess!) on sustainable fashion. The course is run by a collaboration between luxury fashion group Kering and the London College of Fashion, in association with the British Fashion Council. With some delicious canapés and a talk by Kering CEO, François-Henri Pinault, we were delighted to be there meeting some of exciting faces in fashion entrepreneurship. We also didn’t mind getting to browse some of the fantastic collections afterwards!

Back at the office, and we’ve been hard at work building the EG network. Things are progressing nicely since we launched (make sure to be on the lookout for our events coming to a city near you very soon!) and we’ve had numerous exciting meetings with future collaborators – including the British Academy on their exciting upcoming research project, The Future of the Corporation.

Looking further afield, our founder, Maurice Ostro, is heading to the annual YPO conference in Singapore where he will be meeting with business influencers to discuss EG, discussing ways to embed purpose in their businesses and spreading our message internationally.

Together with the (small but growing) team here, we are excited for the coming weeks as we build our network – helping business to embed purpose in their daily actions. If you’d like to get involved, share the message or even sign up, do get in touch.
